Liz Carpender

I have been practicing yoga for nearly twenty years and teaching for fifteen. From my first experience I truly felt an immediate connection. It was that simple discovery of how powerful our breath is that led me to further study, explore, and deepen my own practice and to share my love of yoga with others. I have been fortunate to practice with a great many amazing teachers and students over the years. I earned my 200-hour training certification with Blue Sun Yoga and I am a registered E-RYT with Yoga Alliance. I love to meet new students and always bring a playful yet focused style to my strong physical practice.

I never teach the same class twice; preferring a more in-the-moment approach, I am always happy to adapt my class based on a student request.

I am married and have two wonderful children. I enjoy many forms of physical fitness and recreation, as well as reading, travel, gardening, good wine and live music.
