Nancy Nedland

I started practicing yoga nearly 20 years ago as a way to be more patient and present with my children. After a long and rewarding career as a therapist, I became a registered yoga teacher in 2009 and I’ve been teaching and practicing yoga ever since. My practice has helped me to deepen all of the important relationships in my life.

The physical aspect allows me to maintain strength and flexibility in my active lifestyle, the philosophy gives me a framework for understanding my place in the universe and the breath awareness practice helps me find balance again and again. I like to incorporate all of this into my classes along with a healthy dose of humor to keep things light and fun. I believe that yoga is truly a lifelong practice and I enjoy teaching all age groups and in many settings.

From preschools to special education classrooms, from studios to therapeutic settings, I am privileged to take the seat of the teacher. I am humbled by the process of accompanying my students on their journey towards self-awareness, physical health and spiritual clarity.
