I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years as a means to feel better physically, mentally and spiritually. Yoga has helped me overcome injuries, personal trauma, and health issues, so my goal as a yoga teacher is to empower others to use yoga as a tool to heal and overcome the physical, emotional, and spiritual obstacles they face. I teach others how to accommodate for their bodies and modify their practices so that they can experience the benefits of yoga and start to feel healthier! I create a loving, non-judgmental space and encourage everyone to try yoga, regardless of age, ability, gender, lifestyle, etc. As a teacher, I emphasize that yoga is about being healthy and happy because life is too short to be unhealthy or unhappy!
I have a B.A. in Applied Psychology and I completed my yoga certification with Wendy Dahl from Blue Sun Yoga (RYS) in May 2016.
